Riding in the Moment

TM

Riding in the Moment™ is an evidence-informed program designed to increase the quality of life of adults with dementia and their family members and friends.

Throughout a 4-week session, participants join trained Triple H Ranch staff and volunteers working in partnership with the Geriatric Health Services Research Lab at UW-Madison at our ranch in Milton, WI, and enjoy a morning of experiential horse-related activities.

Participants can groom, interact with horses, and engage with staff, volunteers, family members or friends, and other participants. No prior horse experience is necessary.

This program has been proven safe and appropriate for adults with mild (early) and moderate (middle) stages of dementia.
