Therapeutic Riding &  Horsemanship

At Triple H Ranch, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to experience the joy and healing power of horses. Our therapeutic riding lessons are thoughtfully designed for children, teens, and adults (ages 8 and up) navigating a wide array of physical, cognitive, emotional, and behavioral challenges.

What Makes Our Lessons Special

To meet the diverse needs of all clients, we offer both mounted and unmounted formats, focusing on holistic development:

  • Comprehensive Horsemanship: Lessons include horse care, grooming, equine knowledge, safety, and feeding as appropriate for each student.

  • Targeted Growth: Every session is designed to intentionally improve physical, emotional, cognitive, sensory, and social skills.

  • Certified Expertise: All weekly, one-hour sessions are taught by PATH International-certified instructors who specialize in adaptive equine education.

  • Trained Horse Leaders and Side Walkers: Our programs are also deeply supported by our incredible team of trained volunteers, who play an integral role in keeping our lessons safe, supportive, and fun.

  • Engaging Activities: A typical "lesson" goes far beyond just riding. Depending on the rider's goals, activities often include:

    • Hands-on horse care (like grooming and tacking up)

    • Skill-building games and therapeutic exercises in the arena

    • Pasture riding for sensory engagement and relaxation

A Note on Our Terminology: While these sessions provide profound therapeutic benefits, we choose to refer to this service simply as a lesson. This empowers our participants as students and equestrians, focusing on skill-building, growth, and independence.
